為公開發布創作作品創建版權許可的組織
創用CC除了是一個非營利組織外，它同時也是一種創作的授權方式。創作共用提供多種可供選擇的授權形式及條款組合，創作者可與大眾分享創作，授予其他人再散佈的權利，卻又能保留其他某些權利。
